Friday Night Chew!! October 12th, 6-9pm

Join us for our first “Friday Night Chew”

                     October 12th, 6-9pm

   BYODinner & Drink           Lively Conversation

We are starting a new program at UUFP where we will periodically gather on Friday evenings for dinner and discussion. Here is how it will work: You bring your own dinner and drink and we’ll screen a video that will provide the basis for a group discussion.

~~If you use UUFP utensils or tableware we ask you to clean up after yourself.~~

For our first “Chew”  we will screen a TED talk by the psychologist Steven Pinker titled, The Blank Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature. We think you’ll find some of his conclusions about human nature surprising, perhaps controversial, and certainly interesting – with implications for personal, political and parenting decisions. We suspect this video will spark a lively discussion.
