The Perpetual Nature of Reformation     Speaker: Rev. Aaron Payson

       Worship Associate: Emily Quarles-Mowrer

2017 marks the 500th Anniversary of Martin Luther’s hanging of his now infamous 95 Thesis on the door of the Witenberg Chapel and the beginning of what would come to be known in history as the Protestant Reformation. Some now ask if we are entering another era of reformation. We’ll explore the implications of the cycle of reformation for our times and what lasting effect reformation has had on our liberal religious movement.

Rev. Aaron Payson is Pastor of the UU Church of Worcester, MA where he has served for 18 years. He returns to PA at this time of year to visit family and to return to the place of his childhood. He has thoroughly enjoyed the connections made with the UU Fellowship of Pottstown and looks forward to seeing everyone very soon.
