Common Heart: An Interfaith Dialogue

Today we welcome Elsayed Elmarzouky, the immediate Past President of the Islamic Center of Reading. “Steve” will discuss Common Heart, the Interfaith Dialogue in Reading, which he helped to initiate. Steve will also talk about Ramadan, which is in progress right now, and about his work as a Chaplain at the Berks Prison. Many of you already know Steve as the owner of the Queen City Diner in Reading and the former owner of the VIP Diner in Pottstown. Steve was originally scheduled to speak with us on February 28, but needed to travel to Egypt. His nephew Sayed Elmarkouzy graciously agreed to step in and spoke with us on that date.
