In his famous book “Animal Farm,” George Orwell said, “All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.” David Attenborough said, “People are not going to care about animal conservation unless they think that animals are worthwhile.”

How do we choose which animals to preserve and which to ignore? We will discuss the ways that our conservation choices impact the web of all existence of which we are a part.
