Our UU Ancestor: Olympia Brown.
Speaker: Emily Quarles-Mower.
Olympia Brown was a Unitarian pioneer. She was not just the first woman to become a Unitarian minister, but the first woman ordained as a minister in the United States. She took an active role in causes from prison reform, to temperance, to the women’s suffrage movement. Join us as we consider the remarkable life of this pioneer of social justice.
