A Place For Everything              Speaker: Emily Quarles-Mowrershoechair

When I was a kid, at the start of summer I would give up my cartoons on Saturday mornings to go out “garage sale-ing” with my mom. We often found treasures amongst other people’s trash. I remember thinking, “Who would get rid of a perfectly good [blank]?” You can fill in the blank with anything that a child would want to buy for a quarter. Reading Marie Kondo’s book “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” reminds me yet again of the often fraught relationship we have with our things. Please join us as we think about how we decide what things will fill our homes.
