After several visits to UUFP, visitors often seek formal membership.

This is accomplished with the following steps:

  • Participating in two seminars we refer to somewhat light-heartedly as UU 101 and UU 102. The objective of the former is to familiarize you with UU history, theology and philosophy. The second is to learn about the mission, values and governance of UUFP specifically.
  • Meeting with a church representative who explains church operations and funding and solicits a pledge of your time, talent and treasure.
  • Pledging your adherence to, and support of, the UUFP bylaws by signing the membership book.
